Disabled Rehabilitation Center (DRC) Nepal

Compassion, inclusivity, empowerment, resilience, community support, education, and integrity.

Established in 2002, the Disabled Rehabilitation Centre (DRC) Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by a group of individuals, many of whom live with physical disabilities themselves. DRC is officially registered with the Chief District Office in Kathmandu and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council under Nepal’s Ministry of Social Welfare.

Currently, DRC provides a safe and supportive home for 25 children, ensuring access to education, healthcare, daily physiotherapy, and a nurturing, family-like environment. The children include 19 with physical disabilities and 6 from underprivileged backgrounds. By bringing together children from diverse circumstances, DRC promotes inclusion, compassion, and shared growth.
