The Disabled Rehabilitation Centre Nepal (DRC) was founded to provide vocational training for differently abled and underprivileged women. It began with a mission to transform lives through rehabilitation, skill development and a nurturing environment. Over the years, DRC has grown into a comprehensive center, supporting both children and women with disabilities and empowering them to lead independent and meaningful lives.

All children at DRC attend school—most in private schools, with a few in government schools for special needs. DRC supports them through grade 10 and continues guidance afterward to help them pursue higher studies or vocational opportunities.
Children receive daily physiotherapy sessions to strengthen muscles and improve mobility. DRC also covers any medical treatments needed, ensuring every child remains healthy and cared for.
Saturdays are dedicated to fun and recreation—games, art, dance, outings to nearby forests, and swimming, which allows children to move freely and enjoy themselves beyond their disabilities.
The care house includes 10 sleeping rooms (wheelchair accessible downstairs), a kitchen and dining space for 30 people, a computer room with 6 computers, a homework area, a medical/physio room, and an office. Upstairs, 15 sewing machines support a vocational sewing project.
Support DRC Nepal by donating, sponsoring a child, volunteering your time, or sharing your professional skills to make a lasting difference in the lives of our children.
