2 years ago some volunteers from DRC knocked on Bishwolal's door asking for assistance for the organisation. He visited DRC to see the cramped living conditions of the children. As a concerned citizen of Nepal, and the owner of a small business, Bishwolal wanted to help the children. He became a life member and then a member of the Executive. Bishwolal has a very strong sense of ethics and the need for transparency in the workings of NGOs.

Amrit Pudasainee - Secretary

When I was child my mother taught me to help disabled and disadvantaged people. When I came in Kathmandu on a Scholarship to study, I wanted also to be involved in Social Work. At that time I met my friend who knew Disabled Rehabilitation Centre Nepal. My friend introduced me to the very lovely disabled children and I became a volunteer for 5 months.

One year later I joined the DRC staff. For around one and half years I worked as staff and am now Secretary of the Executive. In this time period the Care House is much improved, with help from Rose Falconer who is the Chief Adviser and Sue Driscoll who is the Education Adviser. I am very proud because I have a big DRC family and I am just 24 years old. I have 46 disabled and extremely poor children. I am the Father of the 46 kids.
